Not every controller is a good controller, not every controller change the way everyone play. But Nintendo made it with this awesome minimalist controller.

Introducing the D-Pad, this separated the video game consoles from the arcade. Start and select buttons were such an improvement you didn’t have to stand up and change options from the console switches (Like on Atari devices).

In every way this was a really advance controller by it’s time. Not only that, but it was also kid’s friendly: Sturdy yet compact it would fit on every kids hands.
